Caring about the world we live in, respecting nature, living healthy and using resources wisely have long been the Girl Scout Way. Eco Trek 2009: Live Healthy, Go Green! celebrates these ideas, encouraging girls to enjoy a brisk nature walk around Lake Rickabear, and to spread the news about healthy living and going green. Our exciting Expo will feature girl-created stations promoting environmentally-conscious activities as well as displays from the business community. Join us rain or shine!

Participate as an Eco Trek Attendee: All girls and adults who are not exhibiting pay a registration fee of $13 by completing the registration form. Attendees visit the expo and trek around the lake. Registration incudes a Go Green patch, and t-shirts will be given to the first 1,000 registrants. Award helpers may also be fulfilled.
After pre-registering with the mail-in form, Eco Trekkers can begin their online fundraising campaign. Follow these steps to begin fundraising online for GSNNJ:
1. Click on the Eco Trekker Registration link in the menu on the left.
2. Read and agree to the waiver.
3. Choose whether you want to Start a Team, Join a Team, or Join as an Individual. If STARTING a team, follow the prompts for naming your team and registering with personal information and a username and password. If JOINING a team, click on the scroll down arrow under Please Select a Team and choose the pre-registered team. Register with your personal information and a username and password. If joining as an INDIVIDUAL, fill out the registration form with your personal information and a username and password.
4. The system defaults to a goal of $100. You are welcome to change the goal to a higher or lower amount.
5. You will receive and email confirming your registration. Customize your own fundraising page by logging into the Main Login under My HQ on the menu to the left.
6. Click on the "Email" tab to send messages to friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to solicit donations to GSNNJ!
